Story :

Yongzheng - A great king of legend in the Chinese history. He saved the Qing Dynasty, and made the Kingdom prolong for another century in the Chinese history. The life of Emperor Yong Zheng, the fourth prince of Emperor Kang Xi during the Ching Dynasty (Manchurian period).

The story took on the more serious side of Yong Zheng. He was portrayed as a hard-working monarch who had the interest of his country at heart. With the aid of his beloved brother, the thirteenth prince, able generals like Nian Gen Yew, and his trusty ministers such as Tian Wen Jing and Li Wei, Yong Zheng succeeded in stabilizing the country's financial situation which was in crisis at the beginning of his enthronement. His reign lasted 13 years, and when he died, leaving the throne to his heir, Hong Li, who would become Emperor Qian Long, it was said at the end of the serial that the treasury was more than doubled, which probably was the biggest accomplishment of Yong Zheng. Throughout his ruling, he had won wars, improved the administration system, punished corrupting officials, paving a smooth road to the throne for his son as well as angering many people along the way.
