Story :

More than 100,000 people gather by the Mekong River in Northeast Thailand on November Full Moon each year. After sunset, mysterious fireballs rise up from the river and disappear into the sky. While the locals still adhere to the traditional myth of the dragon, Great Naga, making a sacred offering to Buddha, the Western visitors take a more skeptical stance: Dr. Norati sets out to prove that the fireballs are natural; Dr. Surapol wants to prove the phenomenon a hoax. Meanwhile, temple-custodian Abbot Loh believes his monks have been responsible for the "miracel" for the past 30 years.

คืนออกพรรษาที่นี่ไม่เหมือนที่ไหน ๆ ในโลก เพราะที่นี่คือริมฝั่งแม่น้ำโขง อำเภอโพนพิสัย จังหวัดหนองคาย หลังพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน ผู้คนที่ไหน ๆ พากันเข้าบ้าน กินข้าว พูดคุย ดูโทรทัศน์ หลับนอน แต่ที่นี่ คนหนับหมื่นนับแสนแห่กันมานั่งรอ ยืนรอ นอนรออยู่ริมตลิ่ง สายตามองจ้องจับอยู่ที่กลางแม่น้ำ บังคับกล้ามเนื้อตาว่าอย่ากระพริบ เพราะวินาทีไหนก็ไม่รู้... ลูกไฟสีส้มแดงขนาดเท่าไข่ไก่จะผุดพุ่งขึ้นสู่ฟ้าให้ตกตะลึงพรึงเพริด และหายวับไปในเวลาเพียง 2-3 วินาที ลูกเล็กเด็กแดง คนหนุ่มสาวต่างร้องเฮ! เฮ!

When I first saw this movie I was in London and I?ve got hooked by that the poster of the movie with that tiny rose balls above the river. But the movie is high standard, considering the Thai film scenario. with a wonderfull plot, a magnificient music and a awesome photography. I compare this movie with some of the Japanese films such
