Story:

Bangrajan is an epic of eleven stouthearted villagers rising up against the Burmese military might, which planned a two-pronged attack on Ayudhya, the former capital of Thailand; one headed by Mang Maha Noratha from the west, and the other, Nemeao Seehabodee from the north.

On the route to Ayudhya, the Burmese troop was ambushed by a group of the Bangrajan patriotic villagers and three times defeated. Nemeao Seehabodee, the commander in chief of the troop was so irritated that he increased manpower to sweep away the Bangrajan villagers, which was out of his league. Despite greater forces of the Burmese, every single Bangrajan man stood up for his homeland with unequalled bravery. Under leadership of Nai Jan and the other ten brave men, plus morale support of Luang Phor Thammachote, their respected monk, all villagers pooled their effort to defend themselves; they made use of anything within their reach; they trained one another to box, fight with swords, shoot arrows, etc.

However, losing a lot of their friends, relatives and children and failing to arm themselves with a cracked canon, the villagers sought help from Ayudhya, which indifferently declined their request. Without any choice, they decided to fight with that defective canon and their weaker forces. Meanwhile, Suki, equipped with artillery, was appointed to attack the Bangrajan village soonest possible. Only a miracle could save the village from this fatal ending, or had fate decreed otherwise?

My all time #1 Thai movie until now (2007). Thiz is the real high budget of the Thai movies. Great history documentary movie, lots of sword (Darb) fighting. Hey, if you are the one who is looking for the Thai best movie, thiz one you shouldn't miss!!! I guarantee thiz is not one of those low budget movie.
