Story :

When soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he didscovers he's aprt of an experimental government program called the Source Code that enables him to cross over into another man's indentity in the last 8 minutes of his life. Armed with the task of identifying the bomber of a Chicago commuter train, Colter must re-live in the incident over and over again, gathering clues until he can solve the mystery and prevent an even deadlier second terrorist attack.

ฉากสะเทือนขวัญที่มีผลต่อประวัติศาสตร์อเมริกา ในฉากระเปิดรถไฟ ที่รุนแรงที่สุด จนส่งผลให้รัฐบาลสหรัฐ ต้อง สร้างเครื่อง Source Code (ซอร์ซ โค้ด) เพื่อย้อนเวลากลับไปแก้ไข เหตุการ์ณที่เกิดขึ้น แต่เครื่อง ซอร์ซ โค้ด นำ โคลเตอร์ สตีเว่นส์ (เจค จิลเลนฮอล) กลับไปได้ก่อนเกิดวินาศกรรมจริงได้เพียง 8 นาทีเท่านั้น และถ้าเขายังไม่สามารถค้นหาตัวคนร้ายที่วางระเปิดรถไฟได้สำเร็จ เขาต้องย้อนเวลากลับไปซ้ำๆ เพื่อปฏิบัติภารกิจให้ได้ แต่ก็เหมือนกลับว่าทุกครั้งที่เขาย้อนกลับไปแก้ไขวินาศกรรม มันจะส่งผลกระทบที่รุนแรงเพิ่มขึ้น ทุกครั้ง
