Story :

Oi comes from up country to work in a fabrics producing factory. She gets to know a middle age lady named Jan whom she loves as her mother. Rungson, the plant manager, is very fond of Oi, so he moves her to work in the factory office. Jan wins the Queen of Factory, but soon she gets sick from tuberculosis, but the factory management just ignores her, so Oi has to take care of Jan. Rungson wants to send Oi to Japan to compete in the Cotton Queen pageant. Jan has died in Oi’s arms, so she makes an announcement to all the workers that Jan has died, but even after having been working in this factory for 20 years, the factory hasn’t even tried to help her when she got sick. She will not go to Japan for the Cotton Queen contest, but she will quit and go back to live with her father.

อ้อยเป็นสาวชนบทที่เข้ามาทำงานในโรงงานทอผ้า อ้อยเป็นที่รักของเพื่อนๆ และได้รู้จักป้าจันทร์ ซึ่งเธอรักเหมือนแม่ รังสรรค์ผู้จัดการโรงงานหลงรักอ้อย รังสรรค์ให้อ้อยมาทำงานอยู่บนออฟฟิศ ป้าจันทร์ได้รับตำแหน่งเทพธิดาโรงงาน ป้าจันทร์เกิดป่วยเป็นวัณโรค แต่ทางโรงงานไม่ยอมรักษาและทอดทิ้ง อ้อยต้องพาไปอยู่ที่บ้านพักของเธอซึ่งรังสรรค์เป็นคนจัดหาให้ รังสรรค์ต้องการให้อ้อยเป็นตัวแทนไปประกวดเทพีฝ้ายที่ญี่ปุ่น อ้อยอยู่ดูแลป้าจันทร์จนกระทั้งป้าตาย อ้อยมางานในชุดเปื้อนเลือดของป้าจันทร์ อ้อยบอกกับทุกคนรู้ และบอกว่าจันทร์คือเทพธิดาที่ถูกหลอกใช้งานมา 20 ปี ส่วนตัวเธอเองขอสละสิทธิ์ไม่ไปญี่ปุ่น อ้อยลาออกจากงานกลับบ้านไปอยู่กับพ่อ
