Story :

Jiang Yan, a psychology grad student, is growing more aware of her own mental status, as she's been seeing ghostly images and hearing mysterious voices. She believes these eerie occurrences are caused by the spirit of her boyfriend, whom she has killed accidentally. Confused and hopeless, Jiang asks the professor whom she's been sleeping with for comfort, but instead, the cold-hearted man refers her to one of his mistresses, Xiao Lin. This convinces Jiang that they are all plotting against her. Refusing to succumb to their plot, she tries to find a desperate way out by delving into a case study she has been working on. However, what she is about to find out is far more serious and complicated than she can ever imagine.

เจียงหยาน นักศึกษาปีสุดท้ายจากวิทยาลัยสอนการรักษาโรคจิต กำลังหาข้อมูลทำวิทยานิพนธ์จึงไปสัมภาษณ์หยางต้าหมิง คนไข้โรคจิตตามคำแนะนำของศาสตราจารย์หลิวเฟิง ต่อมาศาสตราจารย์สตีเว่นจะมาคัดเลือกนักศึกษาไปเป็นผู้ช่วยพิเศษที่ฮาวาร์ด เจียงหยานคิดว่าเสี่ยวหลินเพื่อนของเธอยอมมีสัมพันธ์กับหลิวเฟิงเพื่อแลกกับการไปอเมริกา เธอจึงทำบ้าง แต่วูเช็งคู่หมั้นของเธอรู้เรื่องเข้า ทั้งคู่จึงทะเลาะกัน เจียงหยานผลักวูเช็งล้มลงและสลบไป เธอคิดว่าเขาตายแล้วเลยโทรเรียกหลิวเฟิงมาช่วย แต่พอมาถึงวูเช็งก็เข้าทำร้ายหลิวเฟิง ทำให้เขาฆ่าวูเช็งตาย ทั้งคู่นำศพวูเช็งไปฝังใต้อ่างอาบน้ำ หลังจากนั้นเจียงหยานเริ่มรู้สึกถึงสิ่งประหลาดที่เกิดขึ้นภายในห้อง
