Story :

Kati, a nine-year-old girl whose mother is suffering from an incurable illness. Kati must go through steps of happiness and sorrow, bonding and separation, having her hopes fulfilled and losing something she loves. Nevertheless, kati has learned through these steps that the sorrow from her losses cannot take away her happiness she has received from her mother's love and bonding. This experience allows the little girl to grow up with confidence and courage to live on. She knows who loves her, and who her love ones are.

“กะทิ” (น้องพลอย-ภัสสร คงมีสุข) เด็กหญิงวัย 9 ขวบ ที่ต้องผ่านประสบการณ์การสูญเสียครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุด เมื่อ “แม่” (รัชนก แสง-ชูโต) ต้องจากไปก่อนวัยอันควรด้วยโรคร้ายที่มิอาจรักษา กะทิต้องผ่านขั้นตอนความสุขและทุกข์ ความผูกพันและการพลัดพราก ความสมหวังและความสูญเสีย ที่มากเกินกว่าที่เด็กวัยเดียวกันนี้จะรับไหว

ถึงกระนั้น กะทิก็ได้เรียนรู้ผ่านสิ่งต่าง ๆ ใน “ลิ้นชักแห่งความทรงจำ” ที่แม่เตรียมไว้ให้ก่อนสิ้นลมหายใจว่า ความทุกข์จากการสูญเสียนั้นมิอาจพรากความสุขจากความรักและความผูกพันของแม่ที่มีต่อเธอได้

เด็กน้อยเติบโตขึ้นจากประสบการณ์นี้ด้วยความเชื่อมั่นและกำลังใจในการดำรงชีวิตจากบุคคลใกล้ชิด...ผู้ที่เธอรักและรักเธอ
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น “ตา” (สะอาด เปี่ยมพงศ์สานต์) และ “ยาย” (จารุวรรณ ปัญโญภาส) ผู้ที่รักหลานกะทิดุจชีวิต, “น้าฎา” (เข็มอัปสร สิริสุขะ), “น้ากันต์” (กฤษฎา สุโกศล แคลปป์), “ลุงตอง” (ไมเคิล เชาวนาศัย) และ “พี่ทอง” (นิธิศ โค้วสกุล) ที่ต่างเข้ามาสร้างสีสัน แบ่งปันความสุข และเติมเต็มชีวิตให้หนูน้อยกะทิรู้สึกว่า เธอไม่ได้ขาดอะไร และสามารถดำรงชีวิตต่อไปได้เฉกเช่นเด็ก ๆ ในวัยเดียวกัน
