Story :

Based on a true story set in a 19th-century South African prison, this is the story of a years-long homosexual love affair between two inmates, one a black African the other white. Watching the relationship from afar is a deeply closeted botanist who hires one of the men as an assistant -- as well as other inmates with more sinister motives.
