Story :

During the Korean War, soldiers from the US, North and South Korea come to a peaceful village, Dongmakgol. At first, they confront each other but soon, they start to mix with the villagers. But now the time has come when they must carry out their duties.

เดือนพฤศจิกายน ปี 1950 สงครามเกาหลีเกิดที่บนยอดเขา ดองมาคกอล (Dongmakgol) หมู่บ้านเล็กๆบนเขา เทแบค (Taebaek) ทางภาคตะวันตกของประเทศ จนวันหนึ่งเครื่องบินรบอเมริกา P-47D ตกใกล้หมู่บ้าน ที่นั่งคนขับคือ สมิธ นักบินฝ่ายพันธมิตร โยอิล เห็นเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวและรีบไปแจ้งข่าวกับคนในหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างทางเธอเจอ ลี ซูหวา กับทหารเกาหลีเหนือจำนวนหนึ่งและพากลับไปหมู่บ้านด้วย ในขณะเดียวกัน โย หยูนชูล และ มูน แซงแซง สองทหารเกาหลีใต้หลงทางจากกองทัพ แต่พวกเขาหาทางกลับจนเจอบ้านของหัวหน้าหมู่บ้าน ที่ซึ่งทหารเกาหลีเหนือ เกาหลีใต้ และฝ่ายพันธมิตรจ่อปืนเข้าหากัน ชาวบ้านต่างพากันสับสนเพราะพวกเขาไม่รู้อะไรเกี่ยวกับคอมมิวนิสต์และประชาธิปไตย ไม่รุ้แม้กระทั่งว่าเกิดสงคราม ท่ามกลางเหตุการณ์ที่ตึงเครียด ลูกระเบิดถูกขว้างออกไปทำลายที่เก็บอาหารของหมู่บ้านโดยบังเอิญ ทำให้กองข้าวโพดระเบิดกลายเป็นฝนข้าวโพด
