Story :

Izumo, a retired demon queller who now passes his time as a kabuki actor in nineteenth century Edo. After accidentally killing a child, Izumo swore never to draw his sword again, but evil is afoot and a conspiracy is in full swing to awaken the powerful demon queen Ashura. Can Izumo really stand back and watch the demons take over the World, or will he join the fight once more and battle the forces of evil?

ในศตวรรษที่ 19 อิซูโม่ อดีตนักล่าปิศาจมือดี สาบานตนว่าจะไม่จับดาบอีกหลังจากพลั้งไปฆ่าเด็กเข้า ทว่าไม่นานนักปีศาจสาวสวยกลับออกมาประกาศก้องว่าราชินีอสูร อาชูร่า กำลังจะกลับมาอีกครั้ง แถมมือขวาของหัวหน้านักล่าปิศาจกลับสังหารหัวหน้าและไปเข้าฝ่ายอสูรเสียนี่ ขณะเดียวกันทางฝ่ายอสูรก็สั่งให้ตามล่าหาตัวคู่รักแท้ผู้สามารถชุบชีวิตราชินีปีศาจได้มาทำพิธีด้วย ทำให้อิซูโม่เริ่มรู้ว่า ดูเหมือนเขาจะต้องกลับมาจับดาบอีกครั้งเพื่อปกป้องตัวเองและสาวคนรักซะแล้ว
