Story :

At the birth of the Shilla Kingdom, the age of darkness was swept away as the Awoota Tribal is slaughtered, and the great tree they worship is pulled down. In the hole the tree leaves, the blood of the Awoota seeps in, and as it fills with water, a cursed lake is born.

One thousand years later, the Shilla Kingdom is beginning to crumble. Their champion defender, Ha-Rang, spends much of his time in the battlefield, and is secretly adored by his queen, Jin-Sung. One day, Ha-Rang's love is hunted down by her enemies, and when she is thrown into the dark lake, the manifested hatred of Awoota discovers their chance to finally seek revenge.

เมื่อเสื่อมยุคชนเผ่าแห่งไสยเวทย์มนต์ดำ ก่อเกิดอาณาจักรใหม่นาม Shilla ซึ่งปกครองโดย PARK Hyokkose เขายกกองทัพบดขยี้เผ่าอูทา ซึ่งบูชาต้นไม้ใหญ่ และแล้วต้นไม้นั้น ! ก็ถูกโค่นก่อเกิดเป็นหลุมกว้าง มันถูกเติมเต็มด้วยเลือดและความอาฆาตของผู้ถูกสังหารก่อนจะกลายเป็นทะเลสาบแห่งความมืด Hyokkose ปักดาบลงไปในซากต้นไม้เพื่อตรึงอาถรรพ์ 100 ปีผ่านไป ปลายรัชสมัยของราชินี Chinsong อาณาจักร Shilla ตกอยู่ในสภาพคลอนแคลนไร้ปึกแผ่น ดินแดนถูกแย่งชิงไปหลายแห่ง การสู้รบทำให้ Jaunbie หญิงคนรักของ Biharang แม่ทัพคู่บัลลังก์ราชินี Chinsong ต้องพลัดตกลงสู่ก้นทะเลสาบอันเป็นแหล่งรวมวิญญาณอาฆาตของชนเผ่าอูทา เปิดโอกาสให้วิญญาณนั้น ! ได้เข้าสิงร่าง Jaunbie เพื่อทำการแก้แค้นกับทายาทราชวงศ์ Shilla อภิมหาการล้างแค้นก่อบังเกิด เปลี่ยนรักแท้ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ให้กลายเป็นโศกนาฏกรรมสุดสลด
