Story :

Based on the dramatic and unique real story of Thai boxer Parinya “Nong Toom” Charoenpol (Asanee Suwan). The tale follows Parinya from his childhood in a family home living on the borders of poverty in Northern Thailand to his years as a novice Buddhist monk, tracing the pressures and influences that led to the blossoming of his feminine side and his life as the lipstick-sporting "lady-boy" boxer. After pummeling men in the ring, Parinya used the sport as a stepping-stone to a sex change operation, fulfilling his boyhood dream of becoming a woman.

when i first read about this movie i didn't think much of it, but when i've got the chance to watch it i was so surprised what a great movie this is, its so touching . the story to it would make u be more alil open minded.... i've give this movie a five star becoz its worth it!!!

Oh my buddah! This is the most awesome movie i've ever seen! Its action packed with a strong story in the back. It may seem kind of odd about the name or the looks, but looks can be deceiving. if you liked, 'The Bodyguard' or 'Ong Bak' this movie will fit in nicely because of the action. It shows you what it really like in all of the training and how hard life can be on a person. this is a must buy! you should check it out! I love this movie!!!!
