Story :

In 2005, Bangkok Metropolis is expanding its subway network to reach the outgrowing city. Subway crews start digging a tunnel and unexpectedly wake a mysterious creature that that’s slept under the proposed tunnel for over a thousand years. Despite the best efforts of the military, the creature is now ready to hunt and rampage. Once free of its underground lair, it turns the whole city into chaos – Bangkok is facing a fear that nobody could imagine.

ลีน่า (ซาร่า เล็กจ์) สาวลูกครึ่งไทย-ฝรั่งเศส เป็นลูกสาวของนักโบราณคดีชาวฝรั่งเศส ลีน่าได้รับการปลูกฝังความชอบในวิชาโบราณคดี ตั้งแต่เด็กทำให้เธอมีความมุ่งมั่น ที่จะทำตามเจตนารมณ์ของพ่อให้เป็นจริง เมื่อลีน่าโตขึ้นเธอเดินทางกลับมาเมืองไทยพร้อมกับทุนวิจัย เพื่อทำการขุดค้นหาหลักฐานในเมืองไทย ขณะนั้นที่โครงการขุดเจาะรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดินเฟส 2 ใต้กรุงเทพมหานครซึ่งกำลังก่อสร้าง มีการขุดเจอโครงกระดูกของสัตว์โบราณโดยบังเอิญ ลีน่าถูกติดต่อให้ไปทำการวิจัยโครงกระดูกนั้น เพราะมีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกับที่พ่อเธอเคยเจอ ณ สถานีรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดินนั่นเอง ลีน่าได้พบกับ แทน (ศรราม เทพพิทักษ์) นายทหารหนุ่มที่ดูแลกองทหาร ทั้งสองขัดแย้งกันทันที โดยแทนเตือนลีน่าว่า โครงกระดูกที่ค้นพบนั้น อาจไม่ใช่เป็นแค่สัตว์เดียรัจฉานธรรมดา แล้วทั้งลีน่าและแทนก็ได้พบว่า หลุมขุดเจาะนั้นยังมีถ้ำโบราณ ซึ่งในถ้ำนั้นเป็นที่อยู่ของสัตว์โบราณ ดูคล้ายสัตว์ที่จำศีลอยู่มาเป็นเวลานานนับหมื่นปี และด้วยเหตุบังเอิญ ทำให้สัตว์โบราณตื่นขึ้น และออกอาละวาดในทันที เพื่อจะต้องการตามหาเผ่าพันธุ์เดียวกัน ที่หลงเหลืออยู่

Why I even give this movie a Star is that the effects are pretty good but the acting and the story is horrible.

Mad monster movie made in Thailand

Not great but not bad. Great CGI monster, beautifully detailed, unusual design - based on the ancient Thai bird-god. Not as good a film as any in the Godzilla series, but it's fun if you want to see a monster running amok in Bangkok for a change. The leading actors are enjoyably awful - a Thai speaking western-loooking guy and a young Indian woman. But the Thai cast are a lot more professional, though the soldiers are way over-doing
