Story :

A sacred Buddha statuette called Ong Bak is stolen from a rural village and it soon becomes the task of a young man, Boonting (Phanom Yeeram), to track the thief down to Bangkok and reclaim the religious treasure. Along the way, Boonting must use his astounding athleticism and traditional Muay Thai skills to combat his adversaries.

เรื่องราวเกิดขึ้นเมื่อพระพุทธรูปอันเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ และเคารพบูชาของหมู่บ้านหนองประดู่ ได้ถูกวายร้าย ดอน (วรรณกิตย์ ศิริพุฒ) ตัดเศียรขโมยไป บุญทิ้ง (จา พนม ยีรัมย์) หนุ่มน้อยบ้านหนองประดู่ อาสาออกตามหามาจนถึงกรุงเทพฯ เขาได้เจออ้ายห่ำแหล่หรือ ยอร์จ (หม่ำ จ๊กมก) ลูกชายผู้ใหญ่บ้าน ผู้ที่ลืมท้องนากลิ่นควายบ้านนอก และคู่หูร่วมอาชีพ หมวยเล็ก (ภุมวารี ยอดกมล) ทั้งคู่มีอาชีพเป็นนักต้มตุ๋นตัวยง ด้วยความ ไม่รู้อีโหน่อีเหน่เพิ่งมาจากบ้านนอก บุญทิ้งจึงไว้ใจห่ำแหล่ เห็นเป็นคนบ้านเดียวกัน แต่แล้วเขาก็โดนทั้งสอง ต้มเอาเงินไป ด้วยความที่บุญทิ้งเป็นคนดี และได้ช่วยเหลือชีวิตของทั้งสองไว้ ภายหลังบุญทิ้งจึงได้รับความช่วยเหลือจากทั้งสอง พร้อมทั้งต้องต่อสู้กับศัตรูมากมายด้วยศิลปะมวยไทยโบราณ ในขณะที่เขาต้องหาองค์บากให้เจอและนำกลับคืนสู่หมู่บ้าน ให้ทันประเพณีบวชหมู่อีกเจ็ดวันให้ได้

ONG BAK é o melhor filme de artes marciais que já vi...é maravilhoso,impressionante,fenomenal,espetacular,envolvente,é pra ficar de boca aberta o tempo todo,e sem piscar...é muita ação e emoção,e eu não me canso de ver e rever...Tony Jaa é o melhor ator de todo o oriente,muito carismático.Parabens Thailand por ter uma equipe de produção cinematografica de alto nível!ONG BAK é recomendavel para todos os amantes de filmes de artes marciais.Imperdível,não pode faltar na sua coleção!

the best action movie ever, i mean i don't know where to start, i watch it over dozens of times, every time i show it to my friends, they were amazed that a non chinese or american martial art movie could be so jaw dropping. They was comparing it to jet li best movie. But i think this movie is better.
i highly recommend to whoever never seen this movie to try it out and if u don't think its not one of the best, u don't know squat!!!!!!!!!!!
