Story :

The Conquest, based on a Chinese legend, is set in the Warring States Period three thousand years ago. Chen Kun portrays Fan Li, a court official of the Yue Kingdom, which loses to the Wu Kingdom in a battle. Fan Li, now a slave under the King of Wu, submits to his new master on the surface, but secretly helps the King of Yue (Damian Lau). His beloved (Sonija Kwok), a concubine of the King of Wu, sacrifices her love for Fan to help her motherland.
