Story :

An activist forestry official is determined to protect his wilderness from illegal logging, despite the fact that he has to confront powerful capitalist forces. He¹s helped out along the way by a pure-hearted herdsman and his trusty elephant.

Before World War II, Thai forests used to be among the most fertile and magnificent in the world. Things begin to change when the influence of urban materialism encroaches into the countryside; the total area of forested land is quickly reduced by 20 percent. Aware of the worsening situation, an activist forestry official is determined to protect the wilderness from illegal logging, despite the fact that he has to confront powerful capitalist forces.
