Story :

Before the opening of the International Diamond Expo, a once honest police officer steals a million dollars from the police safe and destroys the evidence. Kin, who is an elite member of the G4 force, believes the officer had been hypnotized and forced to commit the crime. He enlists the help of ex-cop Li, who is also a master hypnotist, who has been convicted of manslaughter, to assist in solving the mystery. However, the mystery they think they're solving is merely a covering set-up to mask the real crime about to be committed.

เมื่อตำรวจหัวกะทิอย่าง คิน ต้องคลี่คลายคดีปริศนา ที่ผู้ต้องหาวางแผนปล้นไม่สามารถจำเหตุการณ์ต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นได้และฆ่าตัวตายในเวลาต่อมา แถมทิ้งปริศนาที่ทำให้เขาต้องเข้าไปพัวพันกับการจารกรรมครั้งใหญ่ ซึ่งการศึกษาคดีจากแฟ้มคดีเก่าๆ เขาเลือกที่จะให้ ชิง อดีตนายตำรวจผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการสะกดจิต ซึ่งอยู่ในฐานะนักโทษคดีฆาตกรรม เข้าร่วมงาน เพื่อป้องกันการจารกรรม และค้นหาความจริงเกี่ยวกับคดีการปล้นที่เขาไม่สามารถคลี่คลายได้ โดยยื่นเงื่อนไขความเป็นอิสระ เป็นข้อแลกเปลี่ยน ทุกอย่างเป็นไปได้ด้วยดี จนกระทั่งทั้งสองสามารถใช้ความสามารถสุดแยบยล ไขปริศนาไปถึงคนร้ายได้ และความตื่นเต้นก็เริ่มต้นขึ้น...เมื่อคำตอบของปริศนากลับเป็นกลลวง
