Story :

Leo Davidson is an astronaut who has crash landed on a strange planet. It doesn't take Leo long to find out that he's not alone. He finds a group of humans who are remarkably similar to himself, yet they certainly don't sit a top the food chain. This planet belongs to the apes who inhabit and dominate the land, holding the humans in subservience. This new visitor from the stars has special qualities that have given the humans hope, and now a war is a brewin'.

Tim Burton reinvents Pierre Boulle's classic novel, beginning with the famed original film's premise - a pilot finds himself in a world turned upside down after landing on a strange planet - with Burton's unique vision and style breaking new ground in story, design, makeup and visual effects.
