Story :

Pod (Mhasmuth Bhunyaruk) is a country boy who leaves his hometown to work in a big city. His finger is accidentally cut down while working in a canned fish factory. He then quits the job and becomes a security guard for a big company and falls for a girl called Jin (Sangthong Kaitauthong) who is a maid service. Jin has a dream, she wishes to be educated while Pod turns to be a cab driver just to have a car for her. Indeed, Jin never looks at Pod, she is fond of Peter (Chuck Stephens) who later changes her life as she never dreams before.

ป๊อด (มหาสมุทร บุณยรักษ์) เป็นชายผู้ไม่มีความฝัน เขาเป็นคนต่างจังหวัดที่เข้ามาทำงานเป็นคนงานในโรงงานปลากระป๋องที่กรุงเทพฯ วันหนึ่งเขาเผลอตัดนิ้วตัวเองใส่ไปในกระป๋อง ป๊อดเที่ยวตามหานิ้วของเขาไปทั่วทุกห้างสรรพสินค้าจนพบ ก่อนจะตัดสินใจลาออกจากงานไปเป็น รปภ. ที่บริษัทแห่งหนึ่ง ที่นี่เองเขาได้พบกับ จิน (แสงทอง เกตุอู่ทอง) จินเป็นแม่บ้านทำความสะอาดที่ชอบถูพื้นเป็นชีวิตจิตใจ ป๊อดแอบชอบจินและสังเกตว่า นอกจากชอบถูพื้นแล้ว จินยังชอบถือหนังสือปกสีขาวเล่มเล็กๆ ที่เธออ่านไม่ออกติดตัวตลอดเวลา จินมีความฝัน เธอฝันว่าวันหนึ่งเธอจะอ่านหนังสือเล่มนั้นออก และชีวิตของเธอก็จะเปลี่ยนไป ป๊อดพยายามเอาใจจินด้วยการลาออกไปขับแท๊กซี่ เพื่อจะได้มีรถมารับส่งจินทุกวัน แต่จินก็ไม่เคยสนใจป๊อดเลย จนวันหนึ่งชีวิตของจินก็เปลี่ยนไปจริงๆ เมื่อจินได้พบกับ ปีเตอร์ (ชัค สตีเฟน) ฝรั่งนักประท้วงเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม จินสนใจปีเตอร์เพราะเขามีหนังสือปกสีขาวเล่มเดียวกับเธอด้วยความอยากรู้ความหมายในหนังสือเล่มนั้นทำให้จินลาออกจากงานไปตามหาปีเตอร์ และกลายเป็นพวกประท้วงเพื่อรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมไปด้วย อดเศร้าใจแต่จินก็ไม่เคยกลับมาเลยและแล้วหลังจากตามหามานานจินก็ได้พบกับปีเตอร์อีกครั้ง และได้รู้ความจริงในหนังสือปกสีขาวที่ทำให้ความฝันของเธอต้องพังทลายลง ด้วยความผิดหวังจินเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเองอย่างรวดเร็ว และหนีหายไปจากชีวิตป๊อด ป๊อดจึงกลับบ้านนอกไปด้วยความเศร้าใจ ความรักของป๊อดจะเป็นอย่างไรต่อไป และจินจะค้นพบสิ่งที่เธอพยายามตามหาหรือไม่

this movie was awesome. i loved the satire in it. highly recommended. watch it for a good laugh. you'll love the movie if you're into metaphors and if you're into deep thinking movies....watch it if you're into complex thoughts and definitely if you're in you're in your 20's, lost and wondering what to do with your life.
