Story :

The film sets in the early of 80s when Bangkok is full with colorful fashions, string musical bands and TV dramas. A drummer boy, Bae (Khridsada Suchosal) is trying to practice his musical skill to the superior scale. At that time, he is suspected to be a murderer and has to flee from a top class agent called Black Ear (Niphon Chaisirikul). Bae tries to prove his innocent to public and also waits for his biggest drum solo versus the most powerful drummer master.

พ.ศ 2525 ปีแห่งการสมโภชน์กรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ 200ปี กรุงเทพฯสดใส ไร้เดียงสาอยู่กับแฟชั่นสีสันหวานแหว๋ว เสียงเพลงจากวงสตริงและหนังทีวี กำลังภายในกำลังฮิตทั่วบ้านทั่วเมือง มือกลองหนุ่ม เบ๊ ( กฤษดา สุโกศล) ศิษย์โปรดอาจารย์ตึ่งโป๊ะ (ปราณี กี่บุตร) สำนักกลองเทวดา ที่พยายามฝึกวิชากลองเทวดาให้ถึงขั้นที่10 แต่ระหว่างนั้น เขากลับพบว่าตัวเองตกเป็นผู้ต้องสงสัยในคดีฆ่าคนตาย จนต้องหลบหนีการไล่ล่าของนักสืบมือปราบ ไอ้หูดำ (นิพนธ์ ชัยศิริกุล) ที่มี ซื่อบื้อ(ริชาร์ด ออฟ ไลอ้อน ฮาร์ท) สุนัขดมกลิ่นเป็นผู้ชี้เบาะแส เบ๊พยายามพิสูจน์ความบริสุทธิ์ของตัวเองให้ทุกคนรู้ โดยมี ต้น (ฝน นันทกา วรวณิชชานันท์) ศิษย์พี่ร่วมสำนักกลองเทวดาคอยให้กำลังใจและช่วยเหลือ จนต้นกับเบ๊เกนความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างลึกซึ้ง ระหว่างการหนีเอาตัวรอด เบ๊ได้พบเจอผู้คนและเรื่องราวพลิกผันมากมาย หลายคนที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเบ๊จนกลายเป็นผู้ที่มีชื่อเสียงในยุคนี้ อย่างไรก็ตามเบ๊มีนัดสำคัญที่รอคอยมาตลอดชีวิต คือ วันดวลกลองกับตัวแทนของสำนักกลองพญายม ผู้มีฝีมือสูงส่งเลิศล้ำ ถึงเวลาแล้วที่ความแค้นยาวนานต้องชำระ
