Story :

Youngster Yuya Yagira sensationally won the Best Actor prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival for his role in Kore-eda's true story of a mother (You) who abandons her four children, leaving the eldest boy Akira (Yagira) to take charge of the family in her absence.

ณ ฤดูใบไม้ร่วง เคโกะและลูกอีก 4 คน ได้เข้ามาอยู่ในอพาร์ทแห่งหนึ่งแล้ววันหนึ่งเธอก็หายตัวไป ทิ้งไว้เพียงเงินจำนวนเล็กน้อยและกระดาษมีข้อความว่า “ถึง อาคิระ แม่จะออกไปข้างนอกสักระยะหนึ่ง ลูกช่วยดูแลเคียวโกะ ชิเกรุและยูกิด้วยนะ” อาคิระอาจจะพาน้องๆ ก้าวผ่านฤดูใบไม้ร่วงไปได้แต่ฤดูที่เหลือพวกเขาจะเป็นอย่างไร ท่ามกลางวันเวลาที่ไม่เคยรอใคร เหลือเชื่อทีไม่มีใครเคยเห็นน้องของเขาเลย
